Introduction To
Ski-A-Rees

Once a year the Ski-A-Rees holds an "Intro To Ski-A-Rees" days where we invite prospective members to come out and get their feet wet...literally.  Young or old, novice or expert, if you are interested in becoming a member of an award winning show ski team, we want you to come out and spend the day with us.

Even if you have never had a pair of skis on your feet or it's been 30 years since the last time you tried...we can usually get most people up and skiing in no time.

The intention of the "Intro To Ski-A-Rees" days is to allow prospective members to get to know us, see what we're all about and decide if becoming a Ski-A-Ree's member is something they might be interested in.  Because we are not a ski school, and do not offer lessons, participation is limited to families interested in joining the Ski-A-Rees

We frequently get asked how old a child should be before attending one of our introduction days.  While every child's abilities are different, we generally find that by age 10, children can quickly lean how to ski and master the beginners skills necessary to be a part of our show.  Another common question is whether or not we teach wakeboarding.  While some of our members do wakeboard, we are a water-ski show team so skiing is what we focus on.

This year's Introduction to Ski-A-Rees is onn August 23rd.  Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the cost is $30.00, with five dollars going to USA Waterski for insurance.  Intro to Ski-A-Rees fees may be put toward Ski-A-Rees membership if you decide to join following the session.  You do not need to bring any special equipment unless you have your own ski vest.
